We take first-time snowmobilers on all of our tours. You just need to pick your level of adventure. Everyone will receive training on operation of their snowmobile before heading out.

OUR SNOWMOBILE TOURS

All guests will receive instruction on how to operate the snowmobile before departure.
**MUST HAVE A VALID LEARNER’S PERMIT OR DRIVER’S LICENSE TO DRIVE A SNOWMOBILE**

Great for those that want to go slow and take in the scenery. This tour is ideal for families and people who want to learn to ride a snowmobile.

9:00am, 12:00pm and 3:00pm

Christmas Season Departure Times (Dec. 18 — Jan. 2):
9:00am, 11:00am, 1:30pm, and 3:30pm

Before you head out, you will receive a detailed safety talk with your guide who will give you instruction on the operation of each snowmobile.  Test your skills on our 3/4 mile long oval track (Heeney Outpost)!

ADD SNOW TUBING

This popular tour splits your time between snowmobiling and snow tubing. Snow tubing is a stop during your snowmobile tour!

All guests must arrive wearing clothing that is appropriate for this cold weather, outdoor activity!

  • DOT-approved helmets WILL be provided (required).
  • Equipment Rentals: Adult Snowsuits $25, Adult Boots $15, and Goggles $10 on a first come, first serve basis. We do not have child-sized snowsuits or boots available.

Do you want a faster paced tour? Then the action tour is for you. This faster pace tour is great for the beginner all the way to intermediate skill riders.

This Keystone, Colorado guided snowmobile tour is typically limited to single riders only because more technical riding skills are required.  

Breathtaking views of Leadville’s Historic Mining District, the Continental Divide, and other features of the Rocky Mountain will inspire you.  Other points of interest include the Collegiate Peaks and the three tallest mountains in the Rockies ( Mt. Elbert, Mt. Massive, and Mt. Harvard).

Satisfy your need for speed and thrills with our customizable Advanced Tour!  This Keystone, Colorado snowmobile tour is only offered to single riders because of the more difficult terrain.  It’s best for those who have experience operating a snowmobile or those who want to learn how to ride off the trail or like to ride with a fully-open throttle.  Bring your adventurous spirit and be prepared to test your abilities.

Ascend to an altitude of over 12,600 feet up Prospect Mountain and, if the weather cooperates, take in the scenic wonder of the Rocky Mountains and Leadville’s Historic Mining District.  Other attractions include the three tallest mountains in the Rockies.

Birdseye Outpost

The Birdseye Outpost is surrounded by majestic mountains, many over 14,000 feet tall, and the Continental Divide. Located 17 miles south of Copper Mountain, the trail system, which goes to over 12,600 feet, provides incredible views – including the three tallest mountains in the Rockies! Another interesting feature here are the old gold and silver mines in Leadville’s Historic Mining District.

Heeney Outpost

The Heeney Outpost is located in Northern Summit County, known for its open space and awe-inspiring views of the Eagles Nest Wilderness and the jagged peaks of the Gore Range.  Tours here stop at the Cocoa Cabin located on a hilltop where you can warm up sipping a complimentary cup of Hot Chocolate and take in the view overlooking the wilderness.
