Keystone Guided Snowmobile Tour – Beginner

Tour Length: approximately two or three hours, depending on which tour you select

Departure Times: 9:00am, 12:00pm and 3:00pm

Winter Holiday (Dec 20th-Jan 7th):  3 Hour Tour is Unavailable

Holiday Departure Times: 9:00am, 11:00am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm

Transportation to Tour Location : Call us directly 48-72 hrs before your tour to arrange a pick up either at local lodging or at our meeting location: 23110 US Hwy 6 Keystone, CO 80435. (Please note: this is NOT where the actual tours are ran.) Must be there 1.5 hours before tour start time.

Tour Location: HEENEY OUTPOST, near Silverthorne, Colorado

Options: include snow tubing down our 1,000ft. tubing hill!

Before you head out, you will receive a detailed safety talk with your guide who will give you instruction on the operation of each snowmobile.  Test your skills on our 3/4 mile long oval track! We will provide snow suits, boots, and helmets (DOT approved) if needed, but we recommend that you use your own gear to ensure the best fit possible.  Be sure to bring your own gloves and goggles. (Children’s suits and boots are very limited!)

Keystone Guided Snowmobile Tour – Intermediate

Tour Location: BIRDSEYE OUTPOST, near Copper Mountain

Options: customize your tour with a scenic tour of the Leadville’s Mining District or more challenging trails

This Keystone, Colorado guided snowmobile tour is typically limited to single riders only because more technical riding skills are required.   You’ll start out on easier trails and then have an opportunity to get fully comfortable with your snowmobile in an open meadow.  Then, you’ll be ready to take on the steep climbs and fresh powder around Prospect Mountain.  

Breathtaking views of Leadville’s Historic Mining District, the Continental Divide, and other features of the Rocky Mountain will inspire you.  Other points of interest include the Collegiate Peaks and the three tallest mountains in the Rockies ( Mt. Elbert, Mt. Massive, and Mt. Harvard).

Satisfy your need for speed and thrills with our customizable Advanced Tour!  This Keystone, Colorado snowmobile tour is only offered to single riders because of the more difficult terrain.  It’s best for those who have experience operating a snowmobile or those who want to learn how to ride off the trail or like to ride with a fully-open throttle.  Bring your adventurous spirit and be prepared to test your abilities.

Ascend to an altitude of over 12,600 feet up Prospect Mountain and, if the weather cooperates, take in the scenic wonder of the Rocky Mountains and Leadville’s Historic Mining District.  Other attractions include the three tallest mountains in the Rockies.
